Demographics

1991

In the 1991 census, the municipality of Živinice had 54,783 inhabitants, of which there were:

44,017 Muslims (80.34%),
3,976 Croats (7.25%),
3,525 Serbs (6.43%),
2,130 Yugoslavs (3.88%),
and 1,135 others and unknown (2.07%). Mixed marriages

The town of Živinice itself had 11,956 residents.

2005

90.5% of population of the municipality were ethnic Bosniaks. 5.5% Croats 4% Bosnians

2007

90% Bosniaks 5% Croats 5% Bosnians and growing
